YAddress

Address Correction, Validation, Standardization and Geocoding

YAddress performs correction, validation, standardization and geocoding of US addresses. It combines the cleansing of addresses and determination of their location on the map into a single-pass process. YAddress corrects thousands of common misspellings, abbreviations, and alternative names for cities and streets. It returns the corrected addresses in the USPS-standard form with proper abbreviations and assigns correct ZIP and ZIP+4 codes as well as other address parameters, such as county, FIPS codes, census tract and block numbers, etc.

YAddress is available in two forms -- as a Web Service and as a software package for local installations.

YAddress Web Service can be consumed from any development environment that supports HTTP or SOAP calls. It is available for development and testing in the demo mode at no cost. For high volume commercial use, open a YAddress Web Service account.

YAddress in local software installations has a very high performance and processed thousands of addresses per second (millions per hour). It exposes both native .NET interfaces and direct DLL interfaces, suitable for consumption from any development environment.

Microsoft SQL Server users can call YAddress directly from SQL queries, stored procedures, or the SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) environment. Please find the integration components, complete with their source code, at Microsoft CodePlex site.
